Open Season 2

My friend started telling me the other day about how she watched part of Open Season 2 and I was like woah! When did this come out? She said it’d been out for about a week. Talk about lack of advertising, and now I know why!!! This movie is terrible. I really don’t know why I kept watching it to the end other than it was so bad I had to see how it turned out in the end.
I will start off with how they don’t have the original voice actors. That was a major downfall, they ruined Boog…he was barely in the movie. Weenie was the main focus, which wasn’t a bad thing, but the whole story was dumb. It’s like they let someone puke on a piece of paper and saw the ideas for it in the mess. Ok that was a bit gross, but that’s how low my opinion of this movie is.
It begins with Elliot getting married to his love, I forget her name, and he chickens out, sees that weenie is being lured back to the humans and runs out on the wedding. Why deer would be getting married is just beyond me especially in a human type ceremony. LAME! Anywho, he runs out on the wedding and gets Boog and a few other friends to follow until his girlfriend gets mad and they all side with her and leave Elliot to his own devices. Which he deserved because he was just a jerk in this movie.
I won’t bother talking about the rest because for those who actually do see it I don’t wanna spoil the ending. So they had a whole slew of new character in this movie. All of which I hated, well except the Basset Hound. He was kinda cute. The main ‘bad guy’ was a poodle and oh I wanted him to get pwned so badly throughtout the film. The character design on most of the new characters are horrible. The music was ho hum throughout and it had one horrid song at the end that made me grit my teeth when I heard it. The animation was ok, but subpar compared to other movies they have made. The humor in this movie was forced, badly. There were a couple scenes that made me laugh but those were few and far between.
I had something else I was going to add here but now I’ve forgotten…ah well it’s not important. The point I wanted to make has been made and that’s what counts. 
So yes terrible movie, the first one was funny maybe not the best but still enjoyable but this sequel is just garbage. Don’t even bother to rent it. It’s a babysitter video at best.
Spore Origins

This game is retardedly addictive. I bought it a few days ago off of itunes for my ipod nano, and it’s totally worth it. I’ve already gone through all the levels. The game is $4.99 and has about 20 levels. You start out with an ameoba type creature and then as you progress you can add to it, change it’s color, add fins, eyes, feelers, scales, etc. You swim around eating smaller spores and avoid getting eaten by larger ones or bumping into ones that have spikes or are diseased. You don’t get past the aquatic parts, but they have left it open for an add-on which I hope they make soon. After you beat all the levels you keep your ‘spore’ and can battle it against the computer or another one of your spores. I will also add that depending on how you make your spore evolve will depend on how fast you get through the levels, some can be challenging if you add or don’t add certain things to your spore. If you are looking for a good game to burn time with try this one out. It doesn’t eat up the battery power on your ipod as fast as most games either.
