Nothing Much

Just an update to say I’m alive and such. Being annoyed at all the hype that is swirling around this swine flu. It’s just a flu, nothing really special about it at all, treat it as such. It’s just a bit of a different strain we haven’t seen before. The ones that die are either really young or really old or sickly to begin with. I hate the news media they ALWAYS blow this stuff way out of proportion. So anyways, other than that I guess I could say I’m open for commissions. Had a bit of an emergency bill to take care of so I’m trying to recover from that. If anyone is interested in getting some art from me lemme know. We can negotiate a price or say a price and I’ll tell ya what you will get for it. That’s all for now folks!

This is beginning to annoy me too. Everyone in my school is panicking and I’m saying “it’s just flu, there’s medication.” They’ll all like “F*** you, we’re going to die!” It’s people’s attitude towards new things that is causing the panic, not the disease itself. I’m partly hoping I do get it because I want to prove these idiotic people wrong.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks swine flu is being blown out of proportion. Sure… its killed some people. But most people survive it just fine. I enjoyed one of the secrets on postsecret this week though about it. “I hope my college gets swine flu so they’ll close it down for a week”. Something like that. Made me chuckle.
Oye. I just stopped over to check out your site for a bit before I got to work on one of my own commissions. I must say, this is a lovely set up! Also, agreed about the swine flu thing. You’re right, it’s just like the bird flu and mad cow disease. I think it’s their way of taking minds off the economy. *shrugs* The news is always up to no good. You never hear about the children being born (unless they are septuplets or something) or the good deeds being done. It’s always who beat up whom or what new disease is going around. Anyways, I better get scootin. Kepp up the GREAT work!
