So I saw this one on Sunday and I thought it was pretty good. The storyline was not amazing or anything but the humorous parts make up for the weak plot, I think. I liked what they did to further develop Scrat’s story for sure. It was great. They kind of killed Manny’s personality and made him too overcautious and annoying. Diego didn’t change too much, nor did sid. The other newer characters were pretty good, they didn’t change them from the second film, and the newest characters they introduced were great. Music was good, animation was excellent (like usual) and the small lessons that were littered about were good. I can’t say it was the best of the Ice Age movies but it was pretty good. My favorite will always be the first, but this was a good sequel, it’s just as strong as the second one. I’d recommend it for a rent maybe even seeing it in theaters, but if you do try to see it in 3D! I wish we had been able too.

On a personal note, I will be gone for a short while. I have A LOT going on starting this weekend till about the beginning of August so updates might be a little scarce until then. After that I will try to pick up the pace a little and might get some new tutorials made as well. I want to try and do some video tutorials. Might try to come up with a nicer layout…still need some good ideas for one though… anywho that’s all for now folks! Oh and a question hmmm… What’s been your favorite movie of this summer?
