Current irrational fears... falling would probably be the top one. I don't have an issue with heights as such, at least when there's a railing, but any kind of an unstable edge even if it's over the shallow end of a swimming pool is an issue. The first nightmare I remember started when I accidentally rolled out of my bed, and then this invisible force started dragging me towards the door through an apparently empty house since nobody heard my screams. It was the most disturbing one I've had, the later ones were all cartoony with stick figure ghosts and triangle-headed phase wolves. Only in my house, though. But if I think I hear one, I sleep with the light on.
