My Pets

Present

Izzy is my latest kitty. I adopted him from the humane society in October of 2010. He was 2 years old at the time. I’ve never adopted a fully grown cat, but I don’t regret it. He’s such a neat kitty, super loving and talkative. He’s a bit of a lard too but ah with time I hope to fix that.

Past

These were my two kitties, Oliver (grey) and Max. Oliver (click here for his page) was born in 1994 and Max in 2002 in Colorado. Oliver loved to play with strings and chase his tail when he was younger and as he aged he just preferred to relax in the sun or on a nice soft fuzzy blanket. He passed on due to old age in Feb of 2010. Max is the catdog, he loved to play fetch with with balls and would bat them around and chase them himself if he got bored enough. He would even bring them to someone to throw them for him, but alas he has gotten lazy with age and now just likes to flop on the floor or a mat. Though he still loves his toys, he just isn’t as playful anymore. He has an unnaturally loud screech when he sees something that spooks him or if another animal intrudes on his turf. Most who hear it think it’s a cat being tortured or don’t even believe it is a cat. Though he doesn’t do it often. Max is still around, but he lives with my parents now due to my moving around so much.
This was Nikki, my Chocolate Lab/Golden Retriever. Don’t ask how she turned out black because I don’t really know. She was a really great dog, my first and so far only, I got her as a puppy back in 1998. Her sister, Pepper (below) were with me for 8 years before I had to give them up in a move. Nikki was more like a cat in that she hated to fetch and she didn’t like doing a lot of the things dogs normally do, though she did love water. She was my dog only and really didn’t listen or like being around other people. She loved to chill out in lawn chairs. I miss her and her sis.
Pepper was Nikki’s sister and the hyper one, hence the name. She was a bit smaller then her sis and less bulky. She loved doing everything a typical dog would, she especially loved tennis balls and chasing snow balls. She was attacked by a couple dogs when she was younger so from that time on had a fear of other dogs and would kind of freak out and bark a lot around new ones. I don’t blame her. She was a good dog, got into a lot of trouble, but lovable.
