Food Banning

I never thought I’d see it here, the thought never really crossed my mind until the last few years, and even then I didn’t think it would happen, but it has. Food banning! They’re trying to implement it right now. Don’t believe me? Check it out: Article 1, Article 2, Article 3, and Article 4. Mostly aimed at fast food, but even regular restaurants are having restrictions imposed upon them.
We shouldn’t have to be told what we CAN or CAN’T consume. “Cheeseburgers aren’t healthy for you, you can’t have them, you’ll get fat. You’re too stupid to figure that out on you’re own so we’re going to not let you have them.” SO WHAT? If I wanna eat cheeseburgers everyday that’s MY choice. I don’t need someone telling me what to eat. I’m fully aware of the affects it would have to my health. Granted I would never eat fast food everyday cause that’s just disgusting, BUT I do want that choice! I don’t want the government banning some of the things I enjoy here and there as a treat. They’re already trying to attack soft drinks, chips and candies. They’ve banned sodas in San Fran’s schools. Ok…kids are still going to go get them elsewhere so that must mean that sodas must be banned everywhere.
Granted most of this BS comes from California, but once it takes hold there it’s going to spread. It will begin to affect everyone. The government has crossed the line TOO far now. People are finally waking up to it, but hopefully it’ll still be fast enough to react and actually make an impact on how the future goes. Who knows how this is going to end. I have so much more to say on some of the crap I’ve seen happening lately but for now I figured I’d touch on the food thing. If we keep going how we’re going, America as we know it is not going to exist. It’s hard to get your voice out there in the sea of people, but if enough people ban together, repeal these laws that are trying to go into affect it WILL change things, we’ve all been too apathetic and this is the result, Big Government.

Loss of Freedoms

It bothers me a lot, and moreso lately, that we are losing so many of our freedoms and the majority of people don’t seem to care. As I said in a previous post this newest generation does not care, even the generation before it doesn’t. Apathetic and dumb, they let the government do whatever they want saying they don’t care, they want change. Well they’re getting it. There are a small group that do and have been trying to make a stand, but they are of an older generation. What happened to the younger ones stepping up. Oh right they don’t care and can’t be arsed to put out the effort.
Good example is this article, and this article. Now regardless of how often it happens the fact is they can still seize your personal property for x amount of time with little or no cause at all. If they find something they don’t like they can fine you or imprison you, and ok sure it has caught some shady people but for those that aren’t guilty of anything they lose out. It’s private data. It’s not a case of oh well if you don’t do anything shady you are safe, that’s not the point. It’s the fact that they can seize your hard earned property without any warning at all. This came along with the “Patriot Act”.
Granted it doesn’t happen THAT often now, but who’s to say that won’t change. They can and will do it under the guise that it’s for your own protection and safety.
New policies like this continue to crop up all over the place. The come with the “justified” reason of “We’re catching the bad guys” “We do it to stop terrorism”. Sure… it might catch that 1 in a million person that is trying to cause physical harm to everyone, but that is just an excuse, a ruse, to put everyone’s mind at ease while they steal freedoms left and right. The more they put into law these acts and new regulations the more freedoms we give up.

Fat = Money?
Published March 18, 2009 | My friend showed this to me today and I was appalled by it. Actually it’s one of the few things that actually made me angry today. This family of fatties gets paid, yes PAID because they are fat. They say they cannot work because they are just TOO fat for that…
This family is just TOO lazy to work off their fat! Get a desk job! Work from home!!
Ooooh they can’t buy healthy food…too poor. The government doesn’t pay them enough for that.
BULL SH*T. Veggies aren’t THAT expensive, get em frozen for cripes sake if it’s THAT horrible.

Well sure some people are more inclined to be fat more than others, but sitting on your arse all day eating 3000+ calories sure isn’t going to help the situation.
Basically they are just fat, lazy arse bums that don’t want to improve their situation. People like these piss me off so much, they live off the government and yet they still whine they don’t get enough money when they don’t do anything. UGH!
