Sand Theives!

So I hear a lot of ridiculous news but this one really just caught my attention the other day. The Mexican government has decided to close Cancun beach for apparent sand theft. They replaced the sand after a hurricane in like 2005 something like that and now the sand is disappearing again. The sand is washing out to see again but hotels are also starting to snitch it. Kind of humorous that hotels would steal sand but yea. Still find it silly that the government is closing a beach because they are worried over sand…shouldn’t they be worried about other things of greater importance like…drug cartels? I get the Glenn Beck newsletter and I found it interesting that Texas is standing up to Obama and his universal health care. Good for you Texas, bought time someone stand up against him. Check out that article here. We don’t need a health care system like Canada or the UK. I know how much fail they are from talking to friends that live there. Plus it’s not gonna help our trillion dollar debt either.
Shifting to my own life! *gasp* We had some friends over the other day and had like a game-a-thon which was pretty fun. We all got to Monopoly, Antwerpen edition, which was amusing to me since Antwerp is not THAT big compared to a lot of other cities but they have editions of everything for it. Anyways this game was brutal I took out one guy and a friend took out my hubby and we both owned at least half the board. I was already in the lead but he wanted to hang in there and he had bought so many houses that there were none left in the bank. All my streets were packed with hotels. He kept landing on mine, and since I had stuff like utilities and trains which I kept landing on it spared me most of the time from his spaces. Pretty much everything on the board cost $600 or more if landed on. He barely was hanging in there, then the chance card of repair your houses came up for him and that finally made him sink. I say it was just revenge for taking me out last time with his street of hotels. )<

Global Bullcrap

I dunno but this BIG push to get some stupid climate change bill passed through congress really just angers me so much. I honestly don’t know why WE don’t stand up and just tell all these dumb politicians enough is enough. Are we that apathetic or are we just dumb? The climate is not changing ALL just because we pollute it. In my opinion it’s changing cause that’s how it’s gone for eons of time. Heck, we put out less pollution than we did years ago and are much more careful with how we take care of the planet and etc. All this is is another scam to fatten the lining on politician pockets. *coughALGOREcough* This bill that will “help” the earth is not gonna help us at all. It’s going to just make our taxes far worse than they ever have been. California pays the highest taxes of the whole country, 10%. Plus we have added fees, like when I went out to buy a new monitor. The monitor was on sale for $130, it’s a 19″ widescreen monitor with built in speakers. Pretty good deal no? Well after tax and an added “recycling fee” It was about $200. That is ridiculous! We already pay so much in income tax why do we need all this?
My dad thinks we should get rid of the income tax and just tax consumer products since there are so many illegals in the country that can get away without paying it. Good idea in that nobody will get off scott free, but it would mean much higher pricing which would really suck monkey nuts. I really really hate the idea of taxing the internet. That’s really going to hurt A LOT of businesses online and it’s going to slow down buying. We don’t need more slow down in the market, its bad enough already. Anyways back to what the rant was originally about! If this bill is to be passed it will DOUBLE the taxes we have to pay. Obama has no qualms about this whatsoever. This disgusts me.
Nobody is going to be able to make it in this world unless they live in a commune, which is almost what I think the big O wants for us all. He’s bringing change, oh yes, the wrong kind. I hope people will wake up and smell the bullcrap these politicians are spewing out towards us. Stop being so blind and following people just because they promise change, just because someone says change doesn’t make it good. Even if you can’t do anything big, sometimes the small things stand out the most in this life. I had something else to write out but I’ve forgotten what it is now probably because it’s 1:30 am and I’m tired. So I will leave this rant at this and sign off for now. There is so much that’s going on in the government these days it’s scary to think of how much change is going to go on and how it will affect the country in the years to come…

Serious kudos to whoever came up with this image…it’s absolutely amazing and sums those two up nicely! Yea as you can tell I do not like Obama… at all. I think he’s the worst decision for president since…. I dunno. I don’t know who would have been worse him, or Hillary…. either way the democrats were screwed. 
I didn’t support McCain either as an fyi before anyone calls me a stupid Republican. I was rooting for Ron Paul. x) Anyways… to the topic! Global warming…the government just can’t drop this mofo of a topic.
The president’s new science adviser said Wednesday that global warming is so dire, the Obama administration is discussing radical technologies to cool Earth’s air. (more here)
WTFFFFF? Is everyone in this government suffering from mental retardation??? Wait that was a dumb question. I just… what the hell? Sorry but this kind of stuff just pisses me off. Global warming, ok what if it is happening?? Obama, there is absolutely NOTHING you or your minions can do to prevent it from happening. If the earth were to implode right now you could not stop it, we would all die. Just let nature be and stop wasting OUR money. Yes OUR money, not yours Obama it’s ours, the people! But wait, global warming is all just a ploy to get our money.
This reminds me of the movie I saw yesterday called ‘Knowing’. It’s one of those the earth get’s destroyed movies and it actually does and pretty much everyone dies. It was cool. Go see it on the big screen cause it has ultra awesome graphics, seriously. It’s one of those WTF, creepy, awesome movies. At first I thought it was going to be kinda like the Omen because it dealt with numbers codes and end of the world stuff, but man it changed. Crazy ending. Some of the scenes in it really shocked me, which is pretty hard to do. I don’t easily jump or get disturbed by a movie but this one affected me. Check it out if you like apocalyptic type movies.
I think that’s all I got for today… I could say some other things but my thoughts are too jumbled at the moment for that.
